Dr. PhD Marta Chinnici

Marta Chinnici graduated magna cum laude in Mathematics from the University of Naples, Italy, in 2004, where she also received her Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2008, with a thesis on stochastic self-similar processes and applications to non-linear dynamical systems. She is currently a Senior Researcher at ENEA, Department of Energy Technologies and Renewable Energy Sources, ICT Division – HPC Lab. Her research focuses on ICT solutions for energy-efficient and sustainable Data Centers, High-Performance Computing (HPC), big data management, data science, and Digital Twin technologies. She serves as an Expert for the European Commission in the fields of ICT, digital technologies, and energy, contributing to the evaluation and review of European research and innovation programs. She is Scientific Coordinator and Project Manager for ENEA in several European and national projects, including PNRR-Rome Technopole, and serves as ENEA Representative on the DTC-Lazio Management and Coordination Committee and CETMA consortium. She is actively involved in the international scientific community as a member of Technical Program Committees, Chair and Co-Chair of international conferences and workshops, and Editor, Referee, and Editor-in-Chief of leading scientific journals. She is the author of books, peer-reviewed scientific publications, and numerous contributions to national and international conferences.
